The Estate

Domaine d’Eugénie was founded in July 2006, when the Pinault family acquired the René Engel estate. Since 2009, the vat room and cellar have been located on Rue de la Goillote, in the center of the village of Vosne-Romanée, opposite Clos d’Eugénie.

The estate covers 7.9 hectares and 11 appellations in the communal villages of Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Flagey-Echézeaux, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Meursault. It offers us landscapes typical of the Côte-d’Or, with remarkable terroirs that are evocative of strong emotions.

With passion and precision, the team led by Jaeok Chu Cramette works to reveal the uniqueness of these centuries-old wine-growing lands. A quest for excellence guided by respect for living things and the desire to express the soul of each “climat” … vintage after vintage

For twenty years, we have been committed to our terroirs. In a world where vines are becoming increasingly vulnerable to climate change, one thing is certain: nature cannot be controlled.

Our mission remains unfaltering: to listen to the earth, follow the rhythm of life and living things, and convey sincere and authentic emotion through each wine

“Being a vigneron means accepting that you can never control everything. It is a job that requires patience, teamwork, and humility. Every woman and man on the estate is an essential link in this quest for delicate balance. We are not masters of the earth. At most, we are temporary guests. This is a truth that the vines whisper to us every season. We embrace this living heritage with respect, rigour, and gratitude. ”
